White Pine Veterinary Clinic believes health insurance for pets is as important as it is for you and your family. That's why we recommend all pets be covered by a pet medical insurance plan. Just like health insurance plans for people, pet medical insurance provides pet owners with peace of mind that your pet’s medical bills will be paid in the unfortunate event of an accident or major illness.
Your pet’s health insurance will help cover the veterinary costs for your pet for unexpected accidents and illnesses that occur after enrollment. The policy holder pays a monthly premium to the insurance company, which then provides reimbursement to the client for medical and surgical care the pet has received.
After your pet receives treatment at White Pine Veterinary Clinic, you will need to submit the paid invoice along with a claim form to be reimbursed at the rate determined by the insurance company, less your chosen deductible. With most pet health insurance plans, there is no extra change for being referred to a specialist or visiting an emergency clinic, and there are discounts available for supplements and therapeutic diets.
Unlike human health insurance, the veterinarian is not involved in processing claims; therefore there are no co-pays or concerns if your doctor participates in your plan. Insurance is “accepted” everywhere because the contract is strictly between the pet owner and the insurance company. White Pine Veterinary Clinic participates with all pet health insurance companies.
Awesome care as always. I have been taking my Fur family to White Pine since 1992 and feel fortunate to have such high quality care in Park City.
